The Academy of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary PT and the Specialty Council announced in 2020 that the Research requirements had changed for application for Specialist Certification.  A Case Study  instead of a research project or data analysis project is now an option to fulfill the research requirement.  Below is a link to the ABPTS Candidate guide to apply for CV&P Specialist Certification.  ON PAGE 38 you will find the RUBRIC for the new CASE STUDY option.

The Academy appointed a committee made up of Board Certified Cardiovascular Specialists to create a Study Guide to assist you with your efforts.

The study guide contains a study plan timeline, list of recommended textbooks, detailed outlines which provide a framework for expected knowledge on all areas of the DSP, practice questions and cases studies.

This study guide is not endorsed by the ABPTS or by the Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Specialty Council. Purchase of this guide does not guarantee a passing score on the specialty examination.
